Visiting just “CUPNOODLES MUSEUM” is wasting, since Ikeda City, Osaka has numbers of enjoyable places for everybody in the family.

“CUPNOODLES MUSEUM” is about 30 minutes away from Osaka Umeda by train. Hands-on experiences of making your original version of cupnoodles which is loved across the world and chicken ramen from flours are popular not only among Japanese but also with foreign tourists.

I assume those repeaters to Japan have been there at least once.(Please check this article for more detailed information about the museum.☆)

Camera, my travel companion ♡ Let’s take a lot of photos! ♪♪

This park is about 15-minute walk from Hankyu Ikeda station. The route to the park is almost straight, and so, you have no worries to get lost. With numbers of tasteful views on the way, it is fun to take photos.

Sights from the old days still remain.
I found many small alleys.
Like good old days of Japan.

Going up the slope a bit, you would see the entrance of the park. There is an information booth, and there you can buy souvenirs and snacks. I saw many families eating picnic lunch or snacks on the benches and at the open space close to the booth.

At nearby park, there are an open space for picnic as well as the play equipment for kids. With the maze in which you can pretend ninja as an example, it is a play spot arranged with a very Japanese motif.

This long slide is very popular among kids.

Right next to the park is Satsukiyama Zoo. Here, you can see a variety of animals, and among them, very rare animals are wombats! You can seldom find them in Japan.

Other than wombats, I saw so many other animals including wallabies, alpacas, miniature pigs, and goats. Moreover, admission to the zoo is free!!!

A colorful and pretty gate welcomes you.
“Wombat” Its square figure is cute. ♡

“Emu” Looks like a dinosaur!
You can feed animals for ¥200♪

Of course CUPNOODLES MUSEUM I mentioned in the beginning of this article is one of my recommendations.◎

I have taken so many photos, but I cannot put up all here. Instead, they are up in my Instagram and Facebook.

Please take a look at those cute animals.♪ With experiences of coming in contact with small animals such as rabbits and guineapigs, and of feeding sheep and ponies, etc. it is a fun place not only for little kids but for everybody.

It took about one hour or so to walk around the zoo slowly. It is within the walking distance from the station, so it is nice to have picnic there in your spare time while you are out.

I found the starting point of the hiking course near the zoo entrance. I heard that it is easy to try even for beginners, so that I decided to hike up a bit.

It was steep, but it was easy to walk up as there are steps!
Wait for me ~.

There is a bench at the end of the course. Of course I took some rest. Without regular exercise, my leg muscles seemed shocked with this walking after a long time. My knees were shaking indeed. Before everything else, I failed to wear right shoes for hiking.

I slipped when walking down the hill, so, I strongly recommend that you prepare a pair of sneakers if you plan to hike there.

If you would visit the zoo or the park only, the pair you have got used to is good enough. ☆ If you are confident in your physically strength, why don’t you try to hike there?

For your information, there is an observation deck before reaching the top of the hill. You can enjoy a view of Ikeda City.

You can find wombats everywhere in the city. Why don’t you take a stroll and look for them.

Of course it is fun to visit Namba and Dotonbori. But, please go out of the central area and enjoy different aspects of Osaka as well. I’m sure you will find the places not known well yet.

Of course CUPNOODLES MUSEUM I mentioned in the beginning of this article is one of my recommendations.◎

I also refer to the arranged recipes of chicken ramen Please take a look.
