An old wooden building with cute public bath tiles. Japanese-style antique café “cafe SARASA NISHIJIN”

“cafe SARASA NISHIJIN” is an eye-catching Japanese traditional building likely to appear in the movie “Spirited Away.” When opening the antique wooden door, there opens a tiled retro space which was a 80 years old public bath that was renovated.

One of the interesting dish is the hearty rice menu, “lettuce wrapped beef stir fried rice.”

It might look like just a whole lettuce but when you open the lettuce, fried rice with simmering beef comes out and the crispy texture with the lettuce is a perfect match.
